Luminescent hystochemistry of biogenic amines in morpho-functional status of organs and tissues in experiment (Scientific and Historical Overview)

The article presents a literature review on luminescent-histochemical methods, which became an integral part of research performed by medical faculty members of the Chuvash State University. These methods allowed to detect catecholamines, serotonin and histamine in structures of the thymus, spleen, lymphoid follicules, kidney and other organs of laboratory animals under various influences. Research based on these methods has advantaged to scientific and pedagogical staff training for many years.
