Diagnostic imaging of stomach and duodenum in multiparameter ultrasound examinatin

The goal of the study was a modification of multiparameter ultrasound examination of stomach and duodenum with the definition of the main characteristics of their diagnostic imaging in healthy persons. The technique of multiparameter ultrasound examination and the main characteristics of diagnostic imaging of an intact stomach and duodenum in normal state is presented. The evaluation of morphofunctional state of stomach and duodenum was performed on an empty stomach and with tight filling of their cavities with drinking water (aixplorer, supersonicimagine, france; aсcuvixv10 and aсcuvixv20, medison, south korea). The obtained parameters were processed by standard statistical methods, at p ≤ 0,05 values were considered reliable (confirmed by magnetic resonance tomographic and endoscopic examinations). In all cases multiparameter ultrasound examination of stomach and duodenum was completed successfully (n = 125), that confirms high efficiency (100%) of the presented method. The obtained diagnostic image of stomach and duodenum allowed to assess functional activity (motor, contractive, evacuation, etc.) and to exclude organic data changes of hollow digestive apparatus. Evaluating the results of the work, it is necessary to acknowledge expediency of multiparameter ultrasound examination of stomach and duodenum due to its high efficiency and to recommend its using in the gastroenterological examination algorithm.
