Issues of clinical and psychological assesment of personality adjustment-maladjustment while in illness

The aim of the work is to establish structural features of personal adjustment-maladjustment while in illness based on clinical and psychological study of patients with somatic and mental disease. An integrative model of personal adjustment-maladjustment while in illness is proposed in order to assess the nature of psychological categories of personality, health, disease, the personality adaptive potential. This view on the issues of personal adjustment-maladjustment while in illness integrated in biopsychosocial approach in medicine can help improve the quality of healthcare.
