NSE-Positive Thymus Cells Under the Influence of Injecting Immunomodulators Tactivin and Galavit

The influence of the immunomodulators tactivin and galavit on the quantitative and morphological characteristics of NSE-positive cells of different functionally active zones of the thymus was studied. During the cytological study, we identified three types of NSE-positive cells. The predominance of these cells in the cortical and cortical-medullary zones of thymus lobes was revealed. After galavit injection, an increase in the number of NSE-positive cells was observed on the 7th day, and with the introduction of tactivin – on the 14th day of the experiment. After injection of galavit, the most frequently we detected in the thymus lobules medium-sized NSE-positive cells, which were less bright with little noticeable granules of rounded or round-oval shape having the area of 447–260 mm2, and in injection of tactivin – small, bright cells with pronounced NSE-positive granules of a rounded shape (259–58 mm2).
