Ontological Model of Hyperprolactinemia

Keywords: endocrine female infertility, hyperprolactinemia, ontological models, diagnostic process modeling, Protege 5.5 system, classes, samples, queries, medical universal ontologies, expert system

Current and understudied problems in gynecological endocrinology include studying the functional state of organs and systems involved in the implementation of female reproductive function. This article describes in detail the ontological models of hyperprolactinemia (HPRL) based on the Protege 5.5 software, it presents a simulation of the diagnostic process, and as a result, the necessary classes, samples, and queries were created. The results of the research make it possible to solve problems of a specific applied nature (logical, structured description, categorization, information search and data analysis), and in the future – to create universal medical ontologies for assessing the state of the female reproductive system, to establish the features of hormonal and metabolic disorders in endocrine infertility.
