Intelligent assistance systems for examination in the subject area «female infertility»

The article examines the methodological approach to the development of ontology models for expert systems, it analyzes existing approaches to constructing ontological models of the subject area, the relevance of creating a theoretical basis for developing intelligent systems in diagnosis of female infertility is substantiated. Scientific novelty consists in using theoretical approaches to ontological modeling, development of a new formal model of ontological type knowledge base in the subject area "female infertility", intended for use in a medical expert system. Results of the study: structuring and formalization of knowledge in the problem area "female infertility" was carried out on the basis of ontological approach at the stage of technological decision-making; a conceptual structure of the indicated ontology was developed with the help of a tool – the program Protégé 5.2 for the program module of a medical expert system.
