DYNAMICS OF MEDICAL STUDENTS’ SATISFACTION WITH EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Keywords: educational services, satisfaction, medical university students

The aim of the research is to compare the results of medical university students' satisfaction with the quality and the components of their educational process. We surveyed 976 students in their second – fifth years specializing in three medical spheres («General Medicine» – 565, «Pediatrics» – 157, «Stomatology» – 254) by means of an earlier approved questionnaire that was aimed to find out the students' attitude to the quality of the lectures, practical training, work practice, the professors' publications, provision with textbooks, organizational issues of tests and examinations. The analysis showed that the mean score increased a little practically at all indicators in 2014 as compared to 2010. However, the number of students dissatisfied with lecturing has definitely increased that might have roots in the introduction of multimedia presentations in educational process. To improve the quality of educational services it is necessary to work out a program providing continuous professional development of professors and elimination of the revealed shortcomings.
