ключевым из которых является снижение уровня эстрогена. Поскольку слизистая оболочка полости рта и слюнные железы содержат рецепторы эстрогена, его дефицит становится общим патогенетическим звеном ухудшения стоматологического статуса, провоцируя развитие гингивита, пародонтита, кариеса, сухости и дискомфорта в полости рта. Ситуация усугубляется при игнорировании гигиенических и профилактических рекомендаций. Цель обзора – анализ трансформации стоматологического статуса женщины в период гормональной перестройки, изучение влияния изменений в работе гормональной системы на распространенность воспалительных заболеваний пародонта, а также систематизация современных отечественных и зарубежных исследований, посвященных видам стоматологической патологии у пациенток в менопаузе, и обобщение актуальных рекомендаций по уходу за полостью рта для повышения эффективности стоматологической помощи. Проведен систематический поиск литературы в базах eLIBRARY и PubMed. По запросу «Hormonal changes during menopause and their relationship to dental status» получено 147 публикаций, из которых отобрано 35 источников (обзорные и оригинальные статьи). Выявлено, что стоматологический статус у женщин зависит от уровня эстрогена, а в период менопаузы характеризуется расстройством метаболизма в тканях полости рта. Важность проблематики растет пропорционально увеличению продолжительности жизни и длительности менопаузального периода. Для определения вероятности рецидивов и прогрессирования патологии необходимо своевременно оценивать изменения, возникающие в полости рта в данный период.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en" abstract-type="summary"><p>During menopause, natural hormonal changes occur in a woman's body, the key of which is a decrease in estrogen levels. As the oral mucosa and salivary glands contains estrogen receptors, a deficiency in estrogen acts as a common pathogenic factor in the deterioration of oral health, contributing to the development of gingivitis, periodontitis, dental caries, dry mouth and oral discomfort. The situation is aggravated when ignoring hygienic and preventive recommendations. The aim of this review is to analyse changes in women’s oral health during the period of hormonal changes, to investigate the impact of changes in the endocrine system on the prevalence of inflammatory parodontal diseases, as well as to systematise current domestic and international research on types of dental pathology in menopausal patients, and to summarise current recommendations for oral care to improve the effectiveness of dental care. A systematic literature search was conducted in the eLibrary and PubMed databases. A search for ‘Hormonal changes during menopause and their relationship to dental status’ yielded 147 publications, from which 35 sources (review articles and original articles) were selected. It is revealed that the dental status of women depends on the level of estrogen, and during menopause it is characterized by a metabolic disorder in the tissues of the oral cavity. The importance of the issue increases in proportion to the increase in life expectancy and the length of the menopausal period.
